Did you play high school or college football? Don’t you wish you could get back into that kind of shape?Do you watch football on T.V. and wish you could get in the kind of shape that T.O. is in?
As a former defensive end myself and a football fanatic, I can’t tell you how many times I have longed for a way to stay in shape that was fun and competitive the way it was when I was playing high school football.
No, I didn’t love every practice, but the incredible shape I was in is something I still miss and I bet you do too!
If you are like most guys, myself included, the accountability factor was huge in helping you stay in shape!Knowing that your coaches and your teammates needed you at practice was what made you go, even if you were not in the mood to practice that day.
The same will be true when you join the MPT Football Workouts.Not only will I expect you to come to our workouts, but because I will create workouts that put you on a team, the other people who are a part of your team will expect you to be at the workout. If you don’t come you will be letting yourself and your team down.HERE IS WHAT THE MPT FOOTBALL WORKOUTS WILL CONSIST OF:
3 Weekly Football “Practices" on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for 4 weeks!
We will meet at a local football field (typically Blossom Athletic Center, but we may also meet at Bradley Middle School) and run through various football drills that are designed to get your heart rate up and work your muscles, allowing you to lose significant amounts of body fat fast!
Each practice will begin with a stretching/warm-up period that will include a dynamic movement routine to help prevent injuries and warm up your joints.
Each practice will end with an intense conditioning period designed to help you push you further than you thought possible.
A 2 day/week weight lifting regimen to complete on your own.
If you don’t have weights at home or a gym membership, I will be happy to work with you on an individual basis or as a group for an extra fee inside the MPT studio
WHY YOU SHOULD DO THIS:
You should do this because let’s be honest…you won’t do it on your own. How long have you been telling yourself you need to get in shape and you still have not done it!
You will be working with guys just like you, who want the same things you do.Guys of all fitness levels will be a part of this group.Overtime you will find yourself among the best of the best as far as your fitness level.
You know you won’t work out if someone isn’t there to make you!I will be there and the rest of the group will be there, so we will expect you to be there.You will show up because of that expectation and that peer pressure.
No other workout will get you in this kind of shape.I don’t need to sell you on this.If you were in high school athletics or college athletics, you know how tough these workouts can be and the results that will come from them.If you were not in athletics then you have seen the way the pro athletes look and you know that those workouts would get you in great shape as well.
